Who we are
UNIDOS, Uniting Law Enforcement and Communities, is based in Snohomish County and made up of organizations, professionals, business owners, students, elected officials, and former elected officials.
We support law enforcement and communities coming together to learn from and about one another to build trust and understanding.
We support opportunities for community efficacy and social cohesion, where all members can participate in building their neighborhoods.
Our Mission
To work with community partners to promote a positive and sustainable relationship based on equitable enforcement, community engagement, and trust between law enforcement officers and civilians.
Our Vision
Safe and healthy neighborhoods where community residents and law enforcement have a trusting relationship and share the responsibility of upholding the constitutional and human rights of all community members when enforcing Federal, State, and local laws.
We envision communities based on mutual trust, respect, and safety practices for residents and officers alike, with the minimum use of force and free of explicit and implicit bias.
